Proverbs 13:23 “A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children.”
A letter from The 2020 PrAY it OFF Campaign Committee
St. Luke Saints:
Once again, we are introducing a Capital Campaign here at St. Luke. However, this time we are not adding a Christian Fellowship Center, enlarging our narthex, or building our pavilion. We are asking the Saints to eliminate our mortgage of $40,000.
St. Luke would be able to dedicate over $3200 per month towards more programs, outreach, education or whatever the Good Lord asked us to do if we eliminate our mortgage. Just think about all we can accomplish when St. Luke becomes debt free.
Now God has us where He wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all His idea and all His work. All we do is trust Him enough to let Him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! Ephesians 2:7-9
We are all truly blessed to be able to worship our Lord and Savior here at St. Luke. As we move into 2020, the St. Luke Capital Campaign Committee is asking you to prayerfully consider a donation above your normal giving to St. Luke so once again we can dedicate more resources to spreading the Gospel Message to our neighbors, community, Memphis and the world. Any contributions collected beyond the $40,000 will be placed in the St. Luke Property Reserve Fund for furnace and air conditioner replacements plus other capital needs.
Please help us complete this Capital Campaign with your donation. Please indicate Capital Campaign on your check. This additional donation could even help you “eliminate” some taxes if you donate before January 1!
The Capital Campaign and St. Luke thank you for all of your past support. Please continue to pray for St. Luke and Pastor Cliff as we head into a new decade of dedication to Christ and His Word.
