Highlights of current and past St. Luke activities
![]() Join us on Sunday, January 27th, as we welcome our guest speaker Lincoln Coffman, who will be sharing about addiction, recovery, and faith. Mr. Coffman is the Project Lifeline Peer Coordinator for Region 7 (Shelby County) Tennessee. He is CPRS certified and has received trainings in WRAP, ACEs, and Healing Arts Research. He has over 7.5 years of abstinence and recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction, which has taken place in the recovery communities of Memphis, TN. Inthat time, he became a father, received Bachelors and Masters degrees at The University of Memphis, taught English Composition, Literature, and Poetry at the university, and began working as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) with the Memphis Area Prevention Coalition. As a CPRS and Lifeliner, he answers calls via the Tennessee Redline (1-800-889-9789) and attempts to make recovery more accessible to those seeking help. He facilitates 12 Step Meetings in local jails and prisons and speaks to various groups about alcoholism, addiction, stigma, and recovery. He also reaches out to local congregations in the hope that they will join the Tennessee Faith Based Initiative and become Certified Recovery Congregations.
