Wednesday, November 8, 5:30 - 8:00 pm If you are interested in joining St. Luke, or just finding out more about what we believe, plan to attend and let Patti in the office or Pastor Cliff know you are coming! We'll have dinner with the WEB (Wednesday Evening Believers) and then start our discussions. Child care is available if you need it! ![]() The Ceruti String Quartet (the faculty string quartet of the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music at the University of Memphis and the October 2017 resident chamber ensemble of IRIS Orchestra) will be presenting a benefit concert in the sanctuary of St. Luke Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 11 at 3pm in the St. Luke Sanctuary. The program will be a continuation of the group's journey through all of the Beethoven String Quartets and will be the 3rd in the series performed at St. Luke. This concert will feature his upbeat and folk music inspired Op. 59 No. 1 "Razumovsky," as well as the Op. 132 featuring the sublime "Heiliger Dankgesang." The concert is free, but we ask that you please bring canned goods or a love donation to benefit the food pantry. ![]() Join us on October 29th for our annual Trunk-or-Treat celebration. Trunk-or-Treat is a fun, safe, and friendly environment where kids can walk around the church parking lot and trick or treat as they go from trunk to trunk. We will have games, food, music, prizes, and of course lots and lots of CANDY! The games and activities will begin at 4 pm while the adults decorate their cars. Trick or treating will begin at 4:30 (Don't forget to bring your candy to hand out!) and food will be served afterward. All games, food, and activities will be outside so please dress appropriately for the weather. Trunk-R-Treat is for all ages so bring the whole family and don't forget to invite your friends and neighbors. We can't wait to see all of your amazing costumes! |
